Mr Chamberlain is one of the oldest in the group. He has 8 years' experience in two styles of martial arts. First aid, safeguarding and basic level of BSL.

Although, Mr Chamberlain is one of the oldest in our group he is an active member and enjoys supporting the group to develop.

Mrs McVeigh has been training with us now for over four years.

Like most adults she watched her child develop and thought why not.

Mrs McVeigh has experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities and is able to look at ways to make learning accessible to all, which makes her a very good addition to our team.

1st Dans

Our 1st Dans go through tough training, not just physically but mentally.

We promote our organisations five principles:

1/Be loyal to your country

2/ Obey your parents and elders

3/ Respect to instructor

4/ Self control

5/ Never misuse your art

Our students do not grade if they break any of these no matter how good they are at the technical side, as character is just as important.

Alex is our senior (Black t-shirt in the middle) he started training as a Little Ninja at the age of 4 and nearly 8 years later he is now a strong part of our team; taking small and whole group sessions. Recently completed first aid training and is really keen to attend championships in Watford, where he has won numerous medals.

Cianan (tallest in the picture at the end) has been training since he was six. He hasn't always taken full part of his training and has had time out. But it is his journey and there is no wrong or right. Cianan has done two styles of martial arts and is now growing even stronger with his confidence to train and we look forward to helping him develop this further. Cianan also has First Aid at work training

Sam (Blonde Hair at the end) Has been training for four years and like Cianan, has had his hold backs. But he is better for the time he has taken to develop both skill and attitude. Sam is eager to teach and has attended first aid training.

I really do look forward to seeing this amazing young men develop further into great leaders.

Junior Leaders

This year we have two new Junior leaders Lola Barton and Lucas Wesolowski. They join our already existing Junior leaders Zacahry Knott and Flaviu Tulbure.

Their role is to help support new students and the general running of the group.

They help to choose group activities and support others to achieve their goals.

These students get to develop leadership and teaching skills to help them with advancing to black belt level.

We are proud of our junior leaders, and their promotion is as a result of the effort and attitude they have towards training.
